I have been a stay-at-home mom for 3 years. I have a 3-year-old daughter, a 4-year-old son and a newborn son. When the pandemic hit, my son was a newborn, and I spent many hours researching and learning about how to help him learn and develop through play. I developed an interest in the Montessori approach as well as the idea that our children need less time doing structured activities and more time playing. After moving to Hebron in 2021, I found myself looking for things to do with my children and struggled to find anything. I had the idea to create a space for young children and families to come and play together, and My Kid's Place was born. I have a bachelor's in sociology and a master's in social work. My Kid's Place wouldn't be here today without the help and support of my husband, Derek, and my babies Cole, Eliza & Brody. We can't wait to see you!
